Remember the dead traffic cone on the corner? It died a very slow and agonizing death that took well over two years.
The same cone ( it had an unusual identifying mark on it ) in healthier days during The 2008 *Nyack Jackalope Season. 
Well, the hole is still in the sidewalk, so a new cone has taken over.*The Jackalopes come down from Hook Mtn. to shop in boutiques and panhandle.
