On the Long Path this afternoon, just north of Hook Mountain. One of my favorite things about living in Nyack is how easy it is to walk from my house to Hook Mountain and enjoy many viewpoints from The Long Path. The path is about 350 miles long, taking the hiker from The GW Bridge / NYC to Altamont Village in the town of Guilderland ( New York's Capitol Region) Nyackers who haven't yet experienced the views from Hook Mtn. and High Tor might want to explore the Long Path this year.
